Local Escape

The beaches of Sikinos are distinguished by the genuine beauty of the Cyclades’ blue and the simplicity of their coastline. Visitors can be guaranteed to discover the beach in Sikinos that best meets their preferences, whether it is secluded and calm, well-maintained and bustling, with pebbles or sand.

Visit the Alopronia beach, which is 200 meters from our suites and adjacent to the Sikinos port. Since it is one of Sikinos’ larger beaches and the only one with a sandy beach, Alopronia Beach is among the most well-known beaches on the island. Tamarind trees and shade umbrellas can be found on the coast, and there are cafes and restaurants nearby.

If you would prefer more barren beaches,Dialiskari beach would undoubtedly impress you if you prefer more desolate beaches! It is perfect for relaxing and taking in the gorgeous blue waters because it is remote but still reachable by car. Its location in a harbor and the rocks that surround it give it a raw appeal. There are tamarisk trees and beach umbrellas for shade. Agios Nikolaos is the small Cycladic Church at the end of the road to the beach.

Agios Georgios (Saint Georgios), the island’s second-largest beach with pristine seas and stunning rocky terrain, is a must-see. Its name derives from the Saint Georgios Chapel, which is located right above the shore. The beach is accessible from the port of Alopronia by boat or by automobile. At the tavern you may enjoy the view and local specialties.
